Maxillary Sinus Lift

Dr Alberto Wintergerst Fisch

Sinus Lift Surgery

A sinus lift is a surgical technique designed to increase bone in the upper arch of the mouth. This creates a stable foundation for placing dental implants in cases where the patient does not have enough bone height or volume.

Sinus Membrane Elevation

In the area above the upper molars, there is an air-filled cavity called the maxillary sinus, which is connected to the nasal cavity. Tooth loss can lead to a significant reduction in the distance between the gum and this sinus. When we need to place a dental implant in this area and there isn’t enough bone to support it, a sinus membrane elevation becomes necessary. There are multiple techniques available for lifting the sinus, but thanks to recent technological advances, this procedure can now be performed with minimal incisions and without the need to cut large amounts of tissue. Using state-of-the-art equipment, we can lift the sinus membrane without damaging it and place the required bone graft to achieve the optimal height for implant placement. We also ensure the use of the highest-quality bone graft materials, carefully selecting the graft source depending on the amount needed. We rely on top-tier brands that guarantee the best quality control standards.

Our goal is to provide patients with a safe, effective solution for sinus lift procedures, enabling successful outcomes in dental implant placement. With advanced techniques and premium materials, we are committed to delivering a personalized approach and a comfortable experience for every patient.
